Join us for a special concert celebrating the Queen of Soul, the legendary Aretha Franklin! Singers and musicians from SpeakEasy Stage Company’s production of THE COLOR PURPLE will perform some of Aretha’s greatest hits, including “Natural Woman,” “Chain of Fools,” and “Respect.”
Scheduled to appear are Anich D’Jae, Crystin Gilmore, Valerie Houston, Deborah Pierre, and Aubin Wise. THE COLOR PURPLE Music Director Nicholas James Connell will conduct and play keyboards, with Zachary Hardy on drums and Nick Francese on bass.
